Short Film Call For Entries - Final Deadline 2 August
Australia’s newest film fest, the Noosa International Film Festival, is calling for entries to its three short film competitions.
Submissions are being accepted exclusively via FilmFreeway.com with official selections being screened publicly at various cinema venues.
NIFF is staging three short film competitions with a regular deadline of 5 July and extended deadline 2 August.

The NIFF Open short film category is open to anyone of any genre and encourages filmmakers from around the world to enter.
So if you’re an Australian or international filmmaker that creates short films - whether they’re in the narrative, animated, documentary, travel, ethnographic, experimental, environmental, music video, surfing, drone, timelapse or hyperlapse genres - you’re welcome to submit.
Noosa International Film Festival will run from 3-6 November 2016 and is being billed as a celebration of great films, and the art of making them.
Among the highlights of the Festival in addition to the short film competitions, will be a series of cinematic events including workshops, masterclasses and Q&A forums offering a unique opportunity for would-be filmmakers to learn about, and become involved in, the craft of making films.
The Festival program will be brought together from the four corners of the globe by a panel of cinema experts and presented to an Australia-wide audience of discerning film-lovers at select venues throughout the world-renowned destination of Noosa.
