The Noosa International Film Festival has wrapped up its second annual festival of film celebrating the art of filmmaking and cinema.

NIFF brought to Noosa four days of film across five venues with Australian cinema notables attending.

Acclaimed Australian film director Rolf de Heer (Bad Boy Bubby) and Award-winning sound designer James Currie (Ten Canoes, Charlie’s Country) presented the Inside Cinema Q&A on Thursday evening.

Some 50 filmmakers attended the festival to see their short films screen and vie for the 13 prize category awards.

Award winners were presented their award by four-time Academy Award-nominee and Australian cinematographer, John Seale.
