Established in 2015, NIFF screens Australian and international feature length films, high quality short films, and stages inspirational workshops and talks with leading industry experts – for filmmakers and film lovers to enjoy.

Each year the Festival continues to develop its connection to film education through its industry links and provide filmmakers access to networking and film industry experts.

The NIFF Short Film Competition open to filmmakers from all countries and genres offers a platform for emerging professional filmmakers to share the art of storytelling with a discerning cinema audience.

The Noosa International Film Festival is presented across three key festival streams:

• WORLD CINEMA: Australian and international new release feature length films
• SHORT FILM: An international short film competition
• INSIDE CINEMA: filmmaking workshops, meet-ups and talks with industry special guests
